I feel that ambient music connects me to something deeper, to the very substratum of the Earth’s crust.

It’s like slipping beneath everything and everyone, into an alternative dimension that isn’t elitist, but accessible to anyone willing to set aside the ballast, the useless excess that fills our lives.

I believe ambient is, in a way, the barest and purest form of music: the absence of rhythmic elements, structures, words, stylistic redundancies. And yet, it is also the infinite.

The absence of everything is not emptiness, but infinity itself—endless expressive possibilities, endless paths, endless shades, free of barriers, limits, or conventions.

A state of absence that is also essence: minimalism.

すべてが「ない」ことは空虚ではなく、無限そのものです。 表現の可能性は果てしなく、道も色合いも境界も限界も、そして決まりごともありません。

欠如でありながら、本質そのものでもある。 それがミニマリズムです。
