music is serious stuff. it's stuff that we're giving to future generations. it's okay to take it lightly and make light songs, —but insisting on proposing circus music in the hope of making the character rather than the music popular, is a cancer that needs to be eradicated;

i still wonder if things will ever change, if there will ever be this global stance, where music is dissociated from a product, or viral content.

when, hopefully, we achieve this goal, music will return to being art. and the incomes of artists themselves, the real ones though, will also be re-evaluated.

音楽は真剣なものだ。それは私たちが未来の世代に残すものなんだ。 軽く受け止めて、軽い曲を作るのは構わない。 ——しかし 音楽ではなくキャラクターを人気にしようとして、サーカス音楽のようなものを提案し続けるのは、根絶すべき癌だ。

いつか状況が変わるのだろうか、音楽が商品やバイラルコンテンツから切り離される、そんな世界的な姿勢が生まれる時が来るのだろうか、と今でも考えている。

願わくば、この目標を達成した時、音楽は再び芸術に戻るだろう。そして、本物のアーティストたちの収入も、再評価されるだろう。
